DOING WHAT WE DO IS NOT ALWAYS FUN

Our little project has grown quite a bit over the past three years.
We started sewing lingerie in a small shared studio and now moved into a 400 sqm studio in the middle of Vienna. What looks like the ideal path from the outside, often gives us headaches and sleepless nights.

This text is meant to reveal some dents on this otherwise perfectly polished surface.

We work in an industry where our products compete with products made in Asia. No import duties, no tariffs.

Almost everything about this products, however, is different.
Local producers pay local taxes
Local producers pay local wages
Local producers comply with EU environmental standards and often more
Local producers mostly source locally, not pinching every penny at the cost of quality

Yet, our products compete with foreign made products shipped directly from Asia. That's something barely any other industry would accept (think of German cars).

What does that mean for us?
You really have to be an optimistic fool to start sewing stuff for a living.
Money should not be your motive, because there isn't much to collect.
There were even months where we could barely pay our bills or salaries.

Yet, we have always managed to do so and that is thanks to a lot of people believing in this naive idea.

THANK YOU TO AN AWESOME TEAM BELIEVING IN WHAT WE DO
THANK YOU TO YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE BUYING OUR PRODUCTS
